AFN Connecticut Funders Meeting: Current Research on Baby Bonds In Connecticut

Building on research of Baby Bonds as an important wealth-building strategy, there is much that we are learning about the direct impact of Baby Bonds financially and beyond.

Please join the Connecticut Asset Funders Network on June 26, 2026, as we dig into the current Baby Bonds research strategy. Together, we will hear directly from researchers helping to uncover:

  • The impact of Baby Bonds on mental and physical well-being
  • Key messaging that works locally and nationally to promote Baby Bonds and equitable wealth building
  • How Baby Bonds promote individual and community wealth building
  • Opportunities to use this research to support a larger wealth-building agenda

We hope that you will join us to learn more about current research initiatives on Baby Bonds and how they are working to inform and drive practice.

Speakers:

  • Yaw Owusu-Boahen, Executive Director, Wealth Accelerator CT
  • Jennifer Putetti, Director of Strategic Initiatives, Office of State Treasurer Erick Russell
  • David Radcliffe, State and Local Policy Director, The New School’s Institute on Race, Power, and Political Economic
