Daria Sheehan is a senior program officer at Citi Foundation, which is committed to economic empowerment and financial inclusion for individuals and families. She directs the Foundation’s financial capability and asset-building portfolio in the U.S., managing over $13 million in philanthropic investments annually. Sheehan collaborates with national financial capability and asset-building organizations to create innovative programs that help individuals establish positive financial behaviors, access safe and appropriate financial products, and build and preserve assets so that they can improve their financial situation and achieve their financial goals.

Previously, Sheehan directed the Citi Foundation’s global education portfolio and led the development of the U.S. college success portfolio, as well as its youth education and livelihoods portfolio outside the U.S.  Prior to joining Citi, Sheehan held various positions in corporate communications, community relations and consumer affairs at Pepsi-Cola Co., Unilever and Chesebrough-Pond’s.
